In 2012 the Flavours of Herefordshire Festival moved into the heart of Hereford City Centre resulting in a seven fold increase in visitors to 32,000 over the two days!

We were delighted that the Festival helped to ‘put Herefordshire on the map’ and the benefits that this number of visitors bought to both the City and County. The Flavours of Herefordshire Festival helps to promote Herefordshire as an attractive place to live and work, showcases the county positively and brings both national media and celebrity presence to the County as well as enhancing the economic benefits to the County and County businesses.

Such an extensive free event requires developing strong sponsorship and funding relationships to safeguard the future of the Festival, protect the economic gain and to ensure sustainability. This can only be achieved through the excellent support and involvement from County businesses and volunteers.
